Bowlingual Dog Translator
Made by a company called Takara Tomy, this little device serves as a universal dog translator. It claims to decipher emotions and fill you in on the overall happiness of the dog. The Bowlingual dog translator device uses voice-print analysis technology with specialized software that adapts the tech for dog barking. It only seems able to pick up on six distinct dog emotions : frustrated, sad, happy, on-guard, assertive, and needy. Apparently the device is remarkably accurate.
The Bowlingual dog translator consists of a hand-held receiver with a lcd information screen and a wireless microphone transmitter which attaches to a dog’s collar. Here’s some pics and a video :

Wiring Gone Wrong
Most of these wire mess images are from India. I would hate to have to troubleshoot these wire junctions and find out why someone’s telephone or internet isn’t working. I guess in North America we take proper cable management for granted. Oddly enough this is where all our tech support comes from. I would not trust the people that put up these cables to fix anything.

Hard Drive You’ve Been Waiting For
Found this ancient hard disk ad kicking around on the web. I wish I knew what year it was from. I probably wasn’t even alive when storage was this expensive.
